First remember that the greatest gift you can give is that of prayer!  Stars Of Kenya has four general categories to which gifts can be designated.  All gifts are used 100% as designated by the giver, meaning that the entire gift amount is sent directly to Kenya for its intended purpose.  This is possible because Stars Of Kenya is operated by volunteers keeping administrative costs to a minimum.  Please look through categories below for more specific information on how gifts are used.  If you decide that you would like to support Stars Of Kenya, please visit our donate page here.
Opportunities To Give
Unicef estimated that there are 2.5 million orphans in Kenya as of 2007.  St Lukes International has 85 orphans living on their compound and feeds and schools for another 80 orphans from the surrounding village daily.  Though it is hard to estimate the number of widows in Kenya, St Lukes International has 35 widows living around their compound who pray for the ministry and help to care for the children; St Lukes also visits many widows around their village weekly.  Orphans and widows have come from great distances to receive the loving care provided by St Lukes International.
All gifts designated for the orphans and widows go towards their housing, clothing, feeding and schooling.  St Lukes International is constantly expanding their orphan dormitories and maintaining their dedicated widows center.  To read about the latest news concerning the orphans at St Lukes click here: for the widows click here.
In a country where a childs primary and secondary education are not free, and women are not given an equal opportunity to men, St Lukes International has made a point of giving girls a chance to become educated and to succeed.  Currently 10 girls are supported by St Lukes and many more are awaiting their chance.  All gifts designated for Girls School Sponsorship go towards these girls books, uniforms, food and housing.  To read  about the latest concerning girls schooling at St Lukes click here.
In the Bible Jesus tells us that what we did to the least of His people, we did to Him.  Matthew 25:36 - "I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."  St Lukes International obediently caries out Jesus' commands by clothing the needy, caring for the sick, and visiting those in jail.  All gifts designated for Outreach go towards buying clothes and items for those in need, medicine for the sick, and medicine and  outreach to those in jail.  To read about the latest concerning Outreach click here; for prison outreach click here.
Stars Of Kenya is operated by volunteers which allows us to keep administrative costs to a minimum.  All gifts to the General Fund go towards paying the monthly website bill, website upkeep, and for office supplies.
Prayer Support & Prayer Requests
More than anything, the people of Miwani Kenya need prayer.  If you are interested in committing to pray for St Lukes International on a weekly basis, please contact us at jeremy.mcclintock@starsofkenya.org and put "Prayer Support" in the subject line.  In the body of the email please include your name and address if you are interested in receiving our newsletter and/or email updates.  To read about the current prayer requests at St Lukes please click here

The widows of St Lukes International pray 24 hours a day (we have heard them in the middle of the night!).  They have a dedicated widows center which is shown at the right.  If you have a prayer request, please contact us at jeremy.mcclintock@starsofkenya.org and put "Prayer Request" in the subject line and describe your need so that we can pass it on to St Lukes.  There is power in prayer, and we in the United States need it as much as anyone else.
